Another retro format that has seen a surprising resurgence over the last few years is the good old Cassette Tape - Officially now noted as the format with the highest growth rate again in 2018, overtaking both Vinyl and CD.
Previously left to drift into distant memory when the CD took over the majority of the marketplace in the 90s, vast improvements in cassette mastering over the years since has resulted in a far more durable product nowadays, with a delicious, warm sound quality to the tape than you will ever recall them being.
With all the traditional packaging options of old-school tapes still available, and even new bespoke options possible, Cassettes can offer a wonderfully nostalgic twist to the revived thirst for an aesthetically pleasing product, with a wonderful variety of shell colours and styles, and tape duration available.
